Darren Killeen trained at the Actors College of Theatre and Television and the 
National Institute of Dramatic Art in Sydney, Australia. Since returning to Ireland in 2009, he has appeared on stage in ‘Readings in the Dark’ (Scéal Eile Productions), ‘Wrecked’ and ‘Fairy Legends’ (Mephisto Theatre Company), ‘Chalks’ (Powderpuff Productions, Dublin), ‘Shortcut to Hallelujah’ (Truman Town Theatre) and has also worked with Macnas.
His television and film credits include ‘Ros na Rún’ (Tyrone Productions), ‘Jack Taylor’ (Magma Films), ‘Guerrilla’ (Dunsany Productions) and most recently, ‘Game of Thrones’ (HBO). ‘Sparks’ is Darren’s second collaboration with writer Pat Hynes.
